Cookie Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Some of what we list here is saved in your browser’s storage instead, which works like a cookie. This page lists everything we use and how to change your choice.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask if you are happy for us to use ad cookies. Saying no is just as easy as saying yes. Nothing to do with ads is saved on your device until you say yes.
You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of our pages or with the button below.
Cookies we always use
These keep the site working. We cannot turn them off.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| lpj_consent | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. | 12 months |
| Saved answers (browser storage) | Keeps your answers while you fill in our questions, the call back form or your onboarding, so nothing is lost if the page reloads. Some of these stay so we can link your answers to the same enquiry if you come back. | Until you close the tab or clear it |
| Lucy chat (browser storage) | Keeps your chat with Lucy and a random chat code, so the chat is still there when you come back and reaches us. | Until you clear it |
| lpj_area_town | Remembers the town you checked on the call back page. | 30 days |
| lpj_gp_state | Keeps your Google sign-in safe when you give us access to your Google Business Profile. | 30 minutes |
| lpj_admin, lpj_test | Only used when Lee is signed in to run the site. | Until signed out |
Site statistics
These are our own counts of how people use this site, so we can make it better and test new versions of pages. Nothing here is shared with anyone else. They stop if you click Reject on our banner. You can also switch them off any time from the Cookie preferences link. After that we only add to simple totals, like how many visits a page had. Nothing is saved on your device and nothing about you is kept.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| lpj_vid | A random code that tells us when the same visitor comes back. | About 13 months |
| lpj_sid, lpj_sid_ts | Groups the pages you look at in one visit. | 30 minutes |
| lpj_exp_… | Remembers which version of a page you see while we test changes. | About 13 months |
Ad cookies
We only use these if you say yes.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Set by Meta. Helps Meta tell us which of our ads bring people here. | 3 months |
| _fbc | Set by Meta when you arrive by tapping one of our ads. | 3 months |
| multiFbc, lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime | Set by Meta in browser storage. Records the ad taps and sites that brought you here. | Until you clear it |
| _gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Set by Google. Helps Google tell us which of our Google ads bring people here. | 3 months |
| _gcl_ls (browser storage) | Set by Google. Same as above. | Until you clear it |
| lpj_attrib_v1 (browser storage) | Ours. Remembers which ad or campaign brought you here. | Until you clear it |
| lpj_fbq_purchase_… (browser storage) | Ours. Stops a payment being reported to Meta twice. | Until you clear it |
If you say yes, Meta and Google may also use their own cookies on their own sites. See Meta’s cookie policy and Google’s cookie policy.
Google’s ad tag loads on every page, but it saves nothing on your device until you say yes. Before that, it can only send Google a basic signal with no cookies, which Google uses to estimate how well our ads work overall.
Some pages show a booking calendar from iClosed. It does not save cookies on your device when it loads. If you book a call through it, iClosed’s own privacy policy applies.
A record of your choice
When you choose, we keep a private record so we can show what you agreed to. It holds a random code, your choices, the date and time, the page you were on and the type of browser you used. It does not hold your name or IP address. We keep it for up to 2 years.
If you say no to ad cookies after saying yes, we delete the Meta and Google items listed above from your browser straight away. Switching off site statistics deletes those too.
Your browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, we cannot remember your choice and will ask again.
